Sunrise Soul Honouring Ceremony
Who?
Hosted by Back On Track, formerly Chandos House Charity, led by James Dickinson, with celebrant Cuillioc “Quill.”
ALL are welcome to attend, and ALL of you is welcome!
What?
For 27 years, James Dickinson lit up the darkest time of the year with a dawn Christmas breakfast for Chandos House Addiction Treatment Centre. When Chandos closed in 2018, the tradition paused—until it was reborn in 2023 through Back On Track, James’ new sanctuary for holistic recovery, community, and nature-inspired healing.
This Christmas Day morning, join us around the fire to honor those we’ve lost, push back the darkness, and welcome the sunrise. Enjoy James’ famous breakfast, warming drinks, and the spirit of togetherness. Expect a friendly, warm atmosphere—though the weather may be cold, so don’t forget your coziest clothes and wellies! Let’s make memories as bright as the dawn.
When?
Wednesday, 25 December 2024 (Christmas day)
Please gather for 7:345m, to prepare for sunrise at 8:15am.
Where?
Boiling Wells Amphitheatre, Boiling Wells Lane, St Werburghs City Farm, Bristol, BS2 9XY UK

Directions: Follow Boiling Wells Lane a short distance, past the main farm office. After the railway tunnel, the woods entrance is on your right. Follow the path up and round to the left to the ampitheatre.
How?
Led by Quill, the ceremony will feature a spiritually neutral, Druidry-inspired blessing to honor those we’ve lost and celebrate the return of the light. Candles will play a central role; bring your own if you can (any kind will do). A few will be provided.
Afterward, enjoy James’ delicious breakfast, warming drinks, and the company of a welcoming community. ALL of you is welcome.
Please contact James on 07538101842 with questions or dietary needs or reach out to Quill directly.
